Cake ‘n’ Cuppa

Every Wednesday from 11am to1.30pm at the Alder Centre. For anyone affected by the death of a child. Drop in for a piece of home made cake and a cuppa, supported by our bereaved parent volunteers in our purpose built beautiful Alder Centre.
Alder’s Hidden Gems

Every Tuesday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Alder Centre (during term time). Alder’s Gems is a collaboration between wellness artist Gemma Longworth and The Alder Centre. Alder’s Hidden Gems is a creative bereavement support group for children and young people who have been affected by the death of a child. It is a fun weekly get together offering a range of creative activities and workshops tailored to the children and their interests including; visual arts, crafts, music, dance, gardening, fashion and upcycling. All sessions will be aimed at children and young people between the ages of 6 and 16. Contact Gemma on [email protected]

Support for anyone Affected by Violent Events. This is a monthly group to support parents and is hosted at the Alder Centre every 3rd Thursday of the month at 6pm.

Pilates After Baby Loss

What are the classes? – Reconnect with your pelvic floor. Restore your core. Recover physically postpartum. One hour classes followed by refreshments and time for peer supprot.
Who can attend? – Bereaved mums following stillbirth or infant loss within the last 12 months. More information.
