Reconstituting Omeprazole 10mg in 5ml at home (263kB)

Introduction

There are two bottles contained within the outer carton.

Bottle 1 is the powder
Bottle 2 is the diluent

Instructions

Gently shake bottle 1 (large bottle) to loosen the powder
Take the caps off both bottles
Pour the liquid from bottle 2 (small bottle) into bottle 1
Put the cap back on bottle 1 and shake it for at least 30 seconds.
After 30 seconds, take off the cap and insert the bottle adapter (bung) into the neck (top) of the bottle
Write the expiry date on bottle 1, this is 30 days from the date you have mixed the 2 bottles together
Throw away bottle 2

How to store omeprazole 10mg in 5ml suspension

All medicines should be stored safely out of the reach and sight of children.

Before you make up the suspension Store below 25°C. Store in the original package
After you have made up the suspension. Store in the refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C
Discard after 30 days
