Kadie was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma in February. This is a form of cancer that can affect multiple organs of the body.
Mum Jodie said: “Finding out Kadie was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma; it was like our hearts were shattered into pieces. Her other siblings were left with grandparents while we were with Kadie, not knowing how long we wouldn’t see them, which could be weeks at a time.
Five months of chemotherapy later, she was given the all-clear and recently rang her end-of-treatment bell!
Kadie’s goal is now to get stronger after her chemotherapy and is determined that she will play football again very soon and and is currently working to build her strength back up.
The family also have plans to take Kadie to Disneyland, as she loves her Disney films and characters!
Mum Jodie said: “As a family, we are so happy that Kadie has finished treatment, it was not very nice to see your child being so poorly. When we heard she had the all-clear it was the most precious moment of our life!”
