From Monday 16th October 2023, the City Walk-in Centre at the BEAT will be relocated to the Linda McCartney Centre, at the Royal Liverpool site, Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
All operational activity such as the Walk-in Centre opening times, staffing and service delivery will remain the same (8am to 8pm, 7 days a week).
Ahead of an anticipated busy winter, the relocated Walk-In Centre will be in close proximity to the Royal Liverpool Hospital, providing easier access to a full range of diagnostic facilities, so people can get help faster for non-life-threatening injuries or ailments. In addition, for those patients whose health deteriorates rapidly, they can be immediately transferred to the A&E department.
Following patient and service user engagement, the CMAGIC service operate a hybrid model of virtual and face to face consultations from the BEAT and will move to a new base in Dale Street. They will also provide a clinic one day a week from the Central Liverpool Primary Care Network, London Road site.
Other services delivered by health care providers operating from the BEAT will remain unchanged.
