Alder Hey is transferring to a new electronic patient access system from Saturday 9th September 2023.
Direct bookable services will display ‘no slot availability’ between 2.30pm on Friday 8th September 2023 until the afternoon of Monday 11th September 2023, therefore, please select ‘Defer to Provider’ during this time (please see below).
Using the defer to provider function
When a referrer attempts to book an appointment for a patient and there are no slots available, they can defer the responsibility for booking the appointment to the patient’s chosen provider using the defer to provider button.

Following the transfer to the new electronic patient access system, any patients referred during this time will be actioned accordingly and slot availability will be available for booking.
Routine Advice and Guidance Services / Referral Assessment Services remain unaffected by this change-over.
