BBC Breakfast made some noise this morning for Children in Need!
Weatherman Owain Wyn Evans and drummer Vicky O’Neon were part of a live BBC broadcast to announce the grand total raised from last year’s Children In Need, which was an incredible £50,991,355.
Some of our wonderful charity ambassadors, youth forum, children and young people, and of course Pudsey Bear, where on hand to reveal the amazing amount.
They also gave some drumming lessons to Amber and Theo, who have both benefited from Alder Hey’s Arts for Health ‘Sound’ project. The ‘Sound’ project, which has been funded by Alder Hey Children’s Charity, provides music sessions for children and young people to help with emotional well-being, positively empower them and build positive relationships.
