We are delighted to announce that Ana Samuel is our newly elected Lead Governor!
Ana has been one of our parent and carer governors since 2020 and was recently re-appointed for a second term.
One of her biggest inspirations for applying for the Lead Governor role was her two little girls, who have both been under Alder Hey’s care. She believes this is a perfect way to give back to Alder Hey and express her gratitude!
Ana is particularly excited to be working with Dame Jo Williams (Chair), the Council of Governors and other stakeholders to continue to support the Trust and work towards exciting projects for Alder Hey’s future. She also believes ensuring all patient, parent and staff voices are heard will be a crucial part of her role.
