Who am I?
I am a current student who is passionate about improving children’s healthcare and ensuring that young people and families are genuinely represented in decisions that shape their care. Alder Hey is a place I deeply admire, and through my involvement in the Youth Forum, I have seen first-hand the impact that listening to young voices can have on patient experience and the hospital environment. I am currently studying 3 A-levels: Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, as I aspire to become a doctor.
What will I bring to this role?
I would bring empathy, dedication, and the ability to understand patient needs from both a young person’s perspective and the viewpoint of a future clinician. I will take my responsibility seriously and commit to listening to fellow governors, supporting staff, and also helping ensure that decisions reflect the experiences of patients and their families.
