The much-loved Alder Hey x Matalan pyjamas have returned for the 13th year running, with every penny of profit going directly to Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
The partnership between Matalan and Alder Hey Children’s Charity began over 13 years ago, with the launch of our first product collaboration in 2014. What started as a five-year pledge to support the development of Alder Hey’s Research and Innovation Centre has grown into something truly special.
Since then, our annual pyjama collection has become a beloved tradition for families across the UK, with 100% of profits donated to Alder Hey.
This year’s design features delicate gingham prints alongside subtle appearances of the iconic Oli the Elephant across pyjamas, t-shirts, socks and a bathrobe. Each piece has been thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind, using soft, breathable fabrics that feels gentle on the skin and a calming colour palette.
You’ll also find a new children’s bathrobe and children’s and adults’ unisex T-shirts featuring Oli and the words ‘Cared for With Love’ – a tribute to the care and compassion families receive at Alder Hey every day.
This year’s design features a delicate gingham print, calming colour palette and subtle appearances of the iconic Oli the Elephant. The collection not only features our annual sell-out PJs but you’ll also find a new children’s bathrobe and children’s and adults’ unisex t-shirts. Our PJs are super-soft and perfect for cosy nights together.
There’s always such excitement and anticipation when the new Matalan x Alder Hey PJs are revealed, and this year’s design feels really different and incredibly special. At the heart of the campaign are real Alder Hey families, each with their own experience of the extraordinary care, compassion and expertise at Alder Hey. By sharing their stories, they represent so many of the children, young people and families we are here to support and are a real reminder of why this partnership is magical.
