Alder Hey’s Chief Transformation and Digital Officer, Kate Warriner, has been named in the CIO 100 UK list for the fifth consecutive year, recognising her continued leadership in digital transformation.
The 2026 recognition follows Kate being named the UK’s number one Chief Information Officer in 2025, highlighting Alder Hey’s work to use technology and AI to improve care for children and young people.

The annual CIO 100 celebrates leading technology executives from across the UK, recognising their leadership, innovation and the difference they make within their organisations. This year’s winners were announced at the CIO 100 Awards and Conference at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 24 September.

Her fifth consecutive appearance also celebrates the contribution of Alder Hey’s iDigital and transformation teams, working alongside clinical and operational colleagues to put digital improvements into practice.
