Throughout the morning, students explored interactive stalls and met colleagues from across clinical, medical, administrative and support services. These sessions provided insight into the many different roles that contribute to the day-to-day running of a modern hospital.
In addition to front-line healthcare careers such as nursing and medicine, the event highlighted a broad range of opportunities in areas including digital, research, estates and facilities, finance, engineering and administration. The aim was to help broaden awareness of the diverse career pathways available within the NHS and challenge common perceptions of working in health and care.
