Alder Hey has welcomed our first-ever Volun’teens.
Volun’teens is a new volunteering project offered by the Alder Hey Academy for young people with various physical and/or mental health challenges. The project has been kindly supported by a grant award from NHS Charities Together.
With three roles to choose from, the project is designed to help our Volun’teens gain career experience, develop new skills, meet new people and most of all, have fun!
Holly, Marni, and Harry (pictured) are the first three young people to be involved in this project. They even got to meet our Chief Nurse Nathan Askew, who came to say hello.
We wish them well as they join our Alder Hey Family.
