We’re delighted to announce that Alder Hey has been shortlisted for Excellence in Narrowing the Health Inequalities Gap at the HSJ Awards 2026 for our work towards and committing to narrowing child health inequality
For nearly half a century, the HSJ Awards have represented the highest standard of recognition in UK healthcare.
The shortlist recognises the outstanding work taking place across the NHS to improve and advance healthcare and reduce inequalities, and we’re incredibly proud that Alder Hey’s work has been recognised.
This year, more than 1,300 entries were submitted to the HSJ Awards, with just 231 projects and individuals making the final shortlist.
This recognition is a huge boost for our dedicated teams and reflects the hard work and commitment that goes into improving health outcomes for children and young people.
The winners will be announced at the HSJ Awards ceremony at Evolution London on 19 November 2026.
