Who am I?
I am a Dad with two teenage daughters originally from Manchester but now living and working in London. My brother was a consultant gastroenterologist at Alder Hey until he died ten years ago, when he was only 45 years old. I have worked in social care for the past 12 years and am now a freelance consultant working in digital transformation in health and social care.
What do I bring to this role?
I have a very good understanding of the NHS and how it works within community as a vital factor in community cohesiveness, having worked with carers and vulnerable people in a care setting. My current work as Digital Development Executive for the largest care home representative body, Care England, means I am constantly looking at new technology and new ways of working in health and social care.
