A new photography exhibition featuring portraits of Alder Hey staff members is now on display at Alder Hey.
The exhibition, available only to staff, has been created by Year 9 and 10 students from the Alder Hey Academy and Medical Needs Education Liverpool (The Alder Centre for Education) as part of a collaborative creative project designed to support learning, confidence and personal development.

Delivered under the guidance of local professional photographer Michael Kirkham, the project gave students the opportunity to develop their photography skills while working in a real-world environment alongside Alder Hey staff.
Throughout the programme, students explored portrait photography, developed transferable creative and communication skills, and gained valuable experience working with new people and environments. The project also helped support confidence building, social interaction and self-expression through creativity.
The portraits on display celebrate the people who work across Alder Hey while showcasing the talent, perspective and creativity of the young photographers behind the camera.
Well done to everyone who took part!
