The Health Service Journal (HSJ) has recently published its analysis of the NHSE Staff Survey results, in which Alder Hey is ranked first in the North West for the question; “Would you recommend your Trust as a place to work?“.
Alder Hey was also ranked third nationally for the same question, as well as seeing an improvement in themes across the survey, outscoring our comparator group.
The 2024 survey saw the highest response rate we’ve ever had from staff at Alder Hey, with leading scores in comparator group in the following areas:
- We are compassionate and inclusive
- We are recognised and rewarded
- We each have a voice that counts
- We are safe and healthy
- We are always learning
- We work flexibly
- We are a team
- Staff engagement
- Morale
Alder Hey is incredibly proud of these results, but we know that there is more work to be done. Plans are in place to address areas that staff want to see improvements in and we look forward to the opportunity to improve our scores in the 2025 survey.
