  • Our 10 year old son was admitted to A&E with suspected diabetes
The care he received here was amazing he was soon found a bed on ward 4c were staff were all amazing too especially Heidi. He was quickly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and received round the clock hourly care . The diabetic team turned up 9.00am next morning with a great teddy bear to practice on and lots of information. They were really supportive and patient with our son. They talked us through everything Mark is great at explaining everything. We then met Noala who educated us on all we needed to know she is a real asset to your team . We’re meeting with Emma the dietician soon and also Rachael who went out to our sons school and I had a really good chat with her too . Everyone is so helpful supportive genuinely lovely you are a fantastic team I’m glad your looking after not just our son but us too
