I am Emma, a dedicated and highly qualified Senior Radiographer with a passion for delivering exceptional care to patients.
I graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Diagnostic Radiography from the University of Liverpool in 2016, and since then, I have spent the last 8 years working within the NHS undertaking several different roles including clinical, managerial and working with Health Education England.
Currently, I am based at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, where I am privileged to work alongside a skilled team to ensure the highest standards of radiological care.
Radiology plays a critical role in patient diagnosis and treatment, which is why I am committed to delivering accurate and timely imaging to support patient care. In my current role, I take pride in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of imaging services.
My experience spans a variety of modalities, including Plain Film Imaging (with a focus on orthopaedic spinal assessments and dental radiographs), CT, Theatre and Fluoroscopy.
I am continuously expanding my knowledge and skill set and am currently focused on furthering my expertise in the Cardiac Catheter Suite and Interventional Lab. I am a strong advocate for multidisciplinary collaboration, shared governance, and decision-making, which ensures the best outcomes for patients.
With a commitment to ongoing professional development, I strive to provide the highest quality of care while supporting the team around me to do the same.
