I’ve been adopted as Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s new mascot to help raise money for the exciting new Alder Hey in the Park and to help celebrate the Hospital’s 100th birthday in 2014.
I am loyal, strong, caring, wise and like all elephants, I never forget which are all the things that make Alder Hey Children’s Hospital so special.
My simple round shape is soft and friendly to represent the warmth of Alder Hey. My large ears symbolise the hospital’s ability to listen to young children and their families, whilst my stitching represents the attention to detail and the level of care that we provide for each and every one of our patients.
Keep your eyes peeled for me over the next few months; I look forward to meeting you soon!
P.S. can I come and live with you? Buy me for cuddles and games in the Alder Hey Children’s Charity online shop 🙂
