Physiotherapy - Community (Liverpool)

comm_physio_lplA team of physiotherapists and assistants highly specialised in treating children aged 0-19 years with long term physical difficulties in various community settings. Children with recent injuries e.g. broken leg, chest infections will be seen by the Physiotherapy team based at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital

We actively encourage parent participation and welcome the opportunity to involve parents with our service development and with the services offered to their child.

Areas we cover

We see children who live in or attend school within the following postcode areas:
L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7, L8, L9, L11, L12, L13, L15, L16, L17, L18, L19, L24, L25, L27.

We also cover the Liverpool side of L14 & L28 though some addresses within these postcodes fall into Knowsley and would be seen by their services if the child does not attend a Liverpool school.

For children living in or attending school in L20, L21, L22, L23, L30 & L31 they would be seen by our South Sefton Team – please see their web page. They also see some children living or attending school in the L10 area and we may see some on the Liverpool side of L10 also.

  • I ,had a physio come to see my son at school has he is under various people, I was very happy with what was done and my son adam really enjoyed it thank you so much .

  • i wasnt happy with my experience in all honesty, im not a fan of bad time keeping and my childs physio was an hour late, if it was the other way round my child’s appointment would of been cancelled so dont think its fair that there allowed to do it either

  • we have ann oultram for our sessions of physio and we find her amazing she cant do enough for us and makes every session enjoyable – as its something to look forward to going to . She is fab
