Clothes Throw Live Auction event raises thousands for Alder Hey

The Clothes Throw 2013The Clothes Throw 2013 Live Auction proudly supported by Littlewoods took place in Liverpool’s esteemed Racquet Club Hotel last night and fashionistas from all over the North West put their sought after tickets to good use to spend, spend, spend – all in the name of charity. Guilt free shopping at its best!

Ladies were treated to welcome drinks kindly donated by E & J Gallo and delicious canapés kindly donated by the Racquet Club Hotel. Hosted by Radio City 96.7’s Simon Greening the event started with the chance to purchase keys in the hope of picking the one which unlocked a great prize  – a luxury Chanel hamper worth over £400.

Guests were then invited to outbid their friends on the exclusive auction lot on their table and then it was over to the main event!

The Live Auction got underway with models Sara and Lydia from Impact Models and Casting, who had their hair and makeup kindly provided by Barbara Daley. Sara and Lydia took to the catwalk modeling exclusive items donated by celebs like Nicola Roberts, Twiggy, Coleen Rooney and Kate Moss.

The Live Auction finished off with a boutique pop up shop mixed with High Street, vintage and designer finds accompanied by music from Asa Murphy.

We would like to thank our corporate partners Littlewoods for their ongoing support, everyone at The Racquet Club, Impact Models, Barbara Daley, our volunteers, Simon Greening and a special thanks to everyone who has donated and attended.

If you weren’t able to make it, the good news is the Clothes Throw runs until the end of November! Take part by organising your own fashion event or pop-up shop, or why not bid on exclusive items in our online celeb auction?
