Big Brain Volunteers’ World Record-Breaking Attempt

Despite some wintery weather an amazing 687 people took part in Liverpool city centre, and it was a fantastic way to mark The Encephalitis Society’s first ever World Encephalitis Day – raising awareness of the condition.

You can see this amazing Big Brain below, or see more photos on the University of Liverpool’s Facebook page.

What is encephalitis?

Encephalitis is an inflammation of the brain, caused by infection or by the immune system attacking the brain in error. You can find out much more on the World Encephalitis Day website.

687 Big Brain volunteers - hopefully soon to be recognised as world record breakers!
